We are currently looking for a Assistant Quality Manager for a leading player in the Food Packaging Manufacturing Industry for their expansion. This company has a legacy of more than 80 years in the world. This position requires your urgent attention.

about the job

• Quality Assurance

  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems (ISO 9001, other relevant standards).
  • Oversee product inspection processes, including first-article inspections, in-process checks, and final quality checks.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality-related issues.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns and ensure defect-free outputs.
  • Handle customer complaints and drive resolution through detailed investigation and communication.

• Continuous Improvement (CI)

  • Support lean manufacturing and Six Sigma projects to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Conduct time-motion studies and process mapping to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Assist in developing key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality and efficiency monitoring.
  • Lead training sessions and workshops to instill a culture of continuous improvement across teams.
  • Promote 5S principles and other workplace organization methodologies.

• Compliance and Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and customer requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain quality-related reports, audits, and certifications.
  • Monitor and manage quality documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and control plans.

• Team Collaboration

  • Act as a liaison between the Quality and Production teams to ensure alignment on goals.
  • Mentor and train team members on quality and CI tools and methodologies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to uphold quality standards and resolve supply chain issues.

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years in quality assurance, preferably in food, food packaging, industrial printing, packaging, or a related manufacturing environment.
  • Good command in English is required.
